SharePoint Developer

Location: Carlsbad, NM

Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc., a privately held government contracting firm located near Urbana, Maryland, is currently seeking a SharePoint Developer to provide support to the DOE WIPP contract in Carlsbad, NM.

Duties and Responsibilities: Attention to detail and strong interpersonal, communication, training, and organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team. Provide assistance to users by researching and answering questions related to project requirements. Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment. Professionally interface with all levels of federal management, stakeholders, and administrative personnel. Manage and maintain Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) systems and integration. Coding and class development, application security management, and threat mitigation. Design, build, test, train, and deploy solutions using Model-View-Controller (MVC)

Requirements: Must have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent, and at least five years of relevant experience in Information technology. Must be proficient with C# MVC framework with at least 2+ years, preferably with some exposure to Core. IT Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Carlsbad, NM

Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc., a privately held government contracting firm located near Urbana, Maryland, is currently seeking an IT Quality Assurance Officer to provide support to the DOE WIPP contract in Carlsbad, NM.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that all product, services and solutions provided by the NWP Information Resources Management (IRM) group meet/exceed all applicable quality objectives, standards and controls in accordance with NWP WP13-1 Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD).
  • QA oversight of IRM products and services
  • Develop quality objectives, controls, practices, plans, policies, standards and initiatives
  • Develop a Quality Surveillance plan
  • Conduct quality audits of IRM-provided services and solutions

Oracle Database Technician

Location: Washington, DC

Responsibilities include:

Database Design

  • Participates in or provides input to the logical data modeling process in order to ensure that business requirements are translated into a valid database design.

Web Application Developer

Location: Washington, DC

Contracts Administrator

Location: Urbana, MD

Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc., a privately held government contracting firm located near Urbana, Maryland, is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to be responsible for operating the organization's contract functions. Desired candidate must possess the excellent Customer Service, Communication, and Organizational Skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor contract performance and compliance in accordance with the contract requirements, and policies and procedures. Maintain monthly reporting to Prime Contractors as required by contract.
  • Collaborate with Client Services in the evaluation process of contract performance to determine necessity for amendments, funding modifications, compliance to contractual obligations and extensions of contracts. Process those changes.
  • Support the preparation and management of all Edgewater contracts, subcontracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements and any other contract related documentation.
  • Prepare quarterly reporting documentation and provides to Management for Quarterly Management meetings. Prepare quarterly contract funding reports for Client Service Managers for their Quarterly Contract reviews.
  • Review/obtain approval for all contract related expenses for processing. Prepare billable travel documents for invoicing.
  • Review/approve Invoices and submit to Prime Contract Offices, along with other required reports and documents.
  • Maintain modification tracking sheet for contracts and provide to accounting monthly for invoicing preparation. May assist Accounting/Payroll Department staff as needed with the preparation of invoices.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary contract closeout documentation at contract end. Ensure timely contract communications internally and externally.
  • Prepare and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) Contract and Client Services activities documentation.
  • Participate in internal and external audits for ISO and CMMI certifications
  • Demonstrate knowledge of government contract law, FAR regulations, and contract policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for contractual matters with internal and external customer.
  • Customer satisfaction is a high priority and contract manager should provide responsive and proactive services to all clients and customers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing/review/signature of customer work/purchase orders in a fast-paced setting.

Project Manager

Location: Washington, DC

Duties and Responsibilities include: Plans, organizes, and controls the overall activities of the project, i.e., project management, technical work, quality of work, schedule, and costs associated with various task orders issued under the contract. The Project Manager ensures that all activities conform to the terms and conditions of the contract and task-ordering procedures. Coordinates activities and seeks resolution of contractual and technical problems while working with the Contracting Officer (CO), COTR, and government project manager.

Requirements: Must have a B.A. or B.S. degree and 10 years of IT or telecommunications experience, including at least 5 years of experience in direct supervision of IT software development, integration maintenance projects, and/or telecommunications management. A PMP Certification is also a requirement.

Enterprise Architect

Location: Washington, DC

Duties and Responsibilities include: Acts independently to provide business and/or technical IT consulting support to strategic units and customer enterprises. Works with executives in the customer organization to formulate enterprise-wide business and/or technical IT product and/or service strategies. Develops and applies consulting methodologies, business models and organizational behavior models to conceptualize methods to apply business and/or technical IT products and services as strategic assets. Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Washington, DC

Duties and Responsibilities: Assists in developing technical solutions including: information operations and analysis related to security intrusion analysis, systems & vulnerabilities, network security, advanced analytic tools, data visualization techniques. Competence in computer security, computer networking with TCP/IP, and network operating systems. Experience in computer network defense and in-depth technical knowledge with intrusion detection systems.

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree in information management/cyber security disciplines, or applicable training certificates from accredited institutions with up to 2 years of experience in the Cyber Security and/or Audit area. Must have a broad knowledge of IT security best practices. Experience with A&A/C&A processes using NIST, experience in preparing A&A/C&A packages, and familiarity with vulnerability scanners is preferred.

We also have a need for Mid-Level Cyber Security Analysts with 3 to 5 years of experience and Senior Cyber Security Analysts with 8 to 10 years of experience and a CISSP Certification.

Management Analyst

Location: Washington, DC

Duties and Responsibilities: Pans, organizes and coordinates various projects, programs and services involving diverse administrative operations; may administer or manage specific projects, programs and/or services; recommends and assists in installing improved administrative methods, procedures equipment and facilities. Conducts research and analytical studies on a variety of programs and issues; coordinates and expedites reports and program information from departmental input; develops procedures and forms; formulates recommendations and prepares reports and correspondence. Assists in determining financial methods, procedures and costs pertaining to a departmental service or program; conducts cost benefit analyses and reviews and prepares financial and statistical reports; coordinates contract arrangements with other organizations and private parties. Where required, prepares grant applications and handles the details of grant or proposal preparation and administration including contracts with federal, state and local agencies. Systems Analyst

Location: Various (MD, NM, ID, Washington, DC)

Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze operations of complex projects, programs, and IT activities; recommend equipment modifications or additions to provide practical and efficient IT operations; and develop project documentation of system functions, requirements, and design. Will manage network infrastructure to include admin, moves, adds, and changes of network devices and associated server services to render full administration; travel to site locations to perform work; create/maintain documentation of systems processes and procedures; manage Windows Server Administration (Windows 2000, 2003, & 2008R2); and install, administer, and manage VMware ESX 4.X / 5.X and Windows based servers such as Active Directory 2003-2008 User/machine account and GPO, Enterprise systems data backup infrastructure, and TCP/IP Network troubleshooting.

Requirements: Must have an B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent, and at least five years of relevant experience working with Network and Systems Operations. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Must be proficient with servers, networking, security operations and concepts in MS Windows (NT, 2000, XP, 2003) operating systems and Cisco networking environment. Have experience with active directory, SMS, MS SQL Server, Websense, and firewalls, and have a working knowledge of: MS Exchange 2010, Network and DFS file share systems and technologies, NTFS and Share level permissions, Customer/Client support, Blade Servers, Proliant Rack Mount Servers, Fiber channel HBA/SAN technology, Enterprise Storage Array knowledge, and Enterprise Storage Area Networking. Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills, and be able to work after hours and weekends as required. Candidates must possess a current MCSE certification or must obtain the certification within 6 months of start.
