During Edgewater’s Q1 Town Hall, we had the incredible pleasure of announcing our Founder’s Award honorees! Congratulations to Barry Cohen and Brittany Wood! These two amazing employees demonstrate a dedication to excellent service and creative solutions while fostering Edgewater’s positive culture and core values.

Barry Cohen – DOE CFO
Barry has been called the embodiment of excellence, integrity, respect, teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement within Edgewater and in support of the DOE CFO’s office. He uses his knowledge and skills to provide exceptional support of CFO critical systems, and mentor his fellow team members. He is known for his trademark “can-do” attitude, willingness to accept any task, and exceptional honesty/integrity. During his time with Edgewater, the customer has recognized Barry on many occasions for his “above and beyond” services in support of the Foreign Travel Management System and in support of CFO Corporate Systems – DOEInfo, Employee Self Service. 
  
Brittany Wood – Corporate Payroll
Brittany Wood is committed to getting the job done and getting it done right, regardless of the hours or whom she needs to work with. She takes pride in her work but is always humble. Brittany rolls with the punches, keeps her head down, and NEVER complains. One of Brittany’s outstanding contributions is her proactive involvement in implementing process improvements for other departments. Her keen eye for optimization and innovative approach to problem-solving paves the way for smoother operations throughout the organization. But what truly sets Brittany apart is her unwavering positivity, even in the face of adversity. Her consistent ability to maintain a positive outlook profoundly influences the entire team, motivating and inspiring us all to strive for excellence.
