FREDERICK, Md. (April 1, 2024) — Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc. (Edgewater) is pleased to announce the promotion of Brian Carr to the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), where he will oversee the accounting, finance, and pricing departments, and lead merger and acquisition (M&A) activities. 

Carr joined Edgewater in August 2022 as the Vice President of Finance. With over 20 years of experience in the Federal IT Services sector, he previously held leadership roles in finance, capture, and pricing at GovCIO, Salient CRGT, and Cognosante. 

“I speak on behalf of the entire leadership team when I say that Brian has been a great addition to the team, and we’re excited to see him in this new position,” stated Dave Yockman, Edgewater CEO. “Since joining the team, Brian has transformed our approach to pricing strategies, and financial planning and reporting. Carr received his bachelor’s in finance from James Madison University and an undergraduate certificate in accounting from the University of Virginia.
