FREDERICK, Md. (April 8, 2024) — Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc. (Edgewater) announces that Shaun Poulton will head the company’s technology innovation organization as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Poulton will further curate Edgewater’s capabilities, which will drive company growth and identify and deliver cutting-edge IT solutions to customers.
Previously, Poulton served as Edgewater’s Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for the development of the company’s delivery methodologies, and regularly engaged with Edgewater customers in areas of digital transformation and modernization, process improvement, and technology roadmap planning. Poulton has over 30 years of experience envisioning, capturing, and executing technology products, solutions, and business strategies that drive company growth and success. He brings expertise in advanced technology solutions that provide relevance, depth and improved alignment with customers and business strategies in IT services organizations.

Prior to Edgewater, he served as CIO of Salsbury Management and New Story Schools, where he led a successful digital transformation and modernization across the company during a period of high growth prior to acquisition. Additionally, Poulton was CTO for leading Software as a Service provider Regent Education where he led the strategic design and development of the company’s enterprise software products and cloud operations.
Poulton holds patents for his work, is active as a volunteer in his community, and supports STEM programs in Edgewater’s client communities.
