2023 marked another incredible year for Edgewater Federal Solutions. There are some things we’re fortunate to celebrate every year, like growing our team by more than 150 employees, expanding our contracts, giving back to our community, fostering industry partnerships, and so much more. But there were a few special things that made this year stand out.

First and foremost, we kicked off the year by celebrating our 20th anniversary, a testament to two decades of providing mission-driven IT and cybersecurity innovations to our federal clients. The milestone was celebrated with an event at the corporate headquarters in Frederick, Maryland, and the party continued across the country at each of our contract sites. To coincide with this anniversary, we launched our inaugural Founder’s Award, which recognizes employees who embody Edgewater’s core values. Two employees were awarded this honor:

Additionally, Edgewater received numerous accolades in 2023. From being named an Elev8 GovCon Honoree by OrangeSlices to earning our sixth consecutive Washington Post Top Workplace ranking, we had a lot to celebrate. We also secured a spot on the Inc. 2023 Best in Business list in the IT Management category and ranked on the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies list for the fifth consecutive year, as well as the Inc. Magazine Mid-Atlantic Region’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies list.

Edgewater’s philanthropic efforts were showcased through partnerships with over 35 non-profit organizations. Most notably, we partnered with Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation to place STEM Centers in two Frederick County Public Schools and two Artesia Public Schools, providing students with hands-on learning opportunities to advance their technical skills and foster their imaginations through science, technology, engineering, and math.

As the company looks ahead to its next chapter, the milestones achieved in 2023 lay a solid foundation for Edgewater’s continued growth, innovation, and commitment to making a positive impact on its clients, employees, and communities.
