Frederick, Maryland (September 10, 2026) – Edgewater Federal Solutions is proud to announce that Andrea Snader, Health & DoD Sector President, has been recognized among OrangeSlices’ 2027 Engage Fed Health 150 Honorees. Nominated and selected by her peers, this recognition celebrates leaders across the Federal Health community who are known not for their titles, but for how they engage, collaborate, share knowledge, and help strengthen the broader community.
Selected through peer nominations and review, the Engage Fed Health 150 honors individuals who are recognized not for their titles, but for how they show up for their colleagues, customers, and the broader Federal Health community. Honorees are known for building trust, sharing knowledge, fostering partnerships, and helping advance practical solutions that strengthen mission delivery across agencies including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and Defense Health Agency.
“I am honored to be recognized among the OrangeSlices 2027 Engage Fed Health 150 honorees,” said Andrea Snader, Health & DoD Sector President at Edgewater Federal Solutions. “This recognition reflects the power of collaboration across the Federal Health community and the importance of building trusted partnerships that advance meaningful outcomes. I am grateful to the colleagues, customers, partners, and peers who make this work so rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to strengthen the partnerships that help advance the mission.”
Throughout her career, Andrea has championed collaboration among government, industry, and mission partners, helping organizations address complex challenges while advancing innovation, operational excellence, and mission-focused outcomes. Her leadership continues to foster trusted relationships across the Federal Health ecosystem and support the delivery of secure, scalable solutions that help agencies better serve those who depend on them.
Engagement has always mattered in Federal Health. Heading into 2027, it matters even more. Technology and AI are reshaping how organizations operate and deliver, how acquisition and competitive strategies continue to evolve, and in the ways government and industry leaders are being challenged to move faster, think differently, and find new ways to advance the mission. Through all that change, relationships, trust, shared knowledge, and a willingness to work across traditional boundaries remain essential.
The 2027 Engage Fed Health 150 recognizes the leaders who are helping make that happen. Selected with input from the broader Federal Health community, these are executives who stand out not simply because of the positions they hold or the organizations they represent, but because of how they engage: They share knowledge and perspective; they make meaningful connections; they create opportunities for others; they give their time; they bring people together; and, perhaps most importantly, they understand that strengthening the community around them ultimately strengthens the Federal Health mission.
Across VA, HHS, CMS, Defense Health, and the broader Federal Health ecosystem, this year’s Engage Fed Health 150 includes established executives, as well as leaders whose influence continues to grow. Different roles. Different organizations. Different perspectives. What connects them is a demonstrated commitment to showing up, contributing, and helping move the community forward.
The list of 2027 honorees and the criteria used for their selection are included below. Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations and those volunteers who took part in the review, continuing to elevate those who are #doingitright.

What Sets Engage Leaders Apart?
Engage leaders don’t all look alike, work for the same types of organizations, or contribute in the same ways. But there are characteristics that consistently distinguish the leaders their peers identify as making a meaningful impact.
Nominees are evaluated using six core criteria:
Open Communication: They share knowledge, insights, and lessons learned because they understand that informed communities are stronger communities.
Mission-Focused Thinking: They look beyond their own organization’s interests, keeping the Federal mission and the communities being served at the center of their thinking.
Reliable Partnership: They build trust through collaboration, accountability, humility, and follow-through. They are the people others want at the table when something important needs to get done.
Community Presence: They show up and contribute. Through events, working groups, mentorship, introductions, or everyday engagement, they invest in strengthening the community around them.
Perspective-Seeking: They actively seek out different experiences, expertise, and points of view, recognizing that better understanding leads to better decisions and better outcomes.
Innovation-Minded: They are willing to challenge assumptions, explore new technologies and approaches, and help their organizations and communities adapt to what comes next.
These characteristics were defined as being drivers to Engage GovCon and provide all leaders across government and industry a model for how to collaborate, engage and thrive.
Nominated by Peers. Selected by Peers.
This is central to what makes Engage meaningful. Engage leaders are nominated by people who see their impact firsthand and selected through a peer review process using the criteria above. Recognition isn’t based on title, company size, revenue, or simply being highly visible. It reflects the broader reputation a leader has earned through how they participate, contribute, collaborate, and help others succeed.
Being recognized as an Engage leader means your peers have noticed how you show up and the difference you make. That’s what it means to Engage. #engagefedgov
